There are Many Wonderful Types of Dildos





A non-vibrating device resembling a penis in shape, size and appearance is generally called a dildo. However some people include vibrating devices also.

Some exclude penis prosthetic aids also known as extensions while many include penis-shaped items designed for vaginal penetration even if they're not true approximations of a penis. Some people include devices designed for anal penetration such as butt plugs while others do not.

This sex toy comes in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors and materials and can be used for vaginal and anal play or just rubbed over the body. They can also be used for personal penetration or shared with your partner.

They are a great way for women to keep their vagina toned and in shape for intercourse especially if they are not sexually active with a partner. They are also a wonderful way to have sex without a partner, giving you full control of the pleasure you receive. With all the different types available trying to find the one for you can seem like somewhat of a daunting task. But it's not. Types of Dildos:

There are many different types of dildos available. Knowing the function of each type will help you choose the type you desire.

    Traditional dildos: This very popular adult sex toy is usually shaped like a penis, some extremely realistic with the shape color and feel of a real penis. Many are even casted from real penises, lots of them from adult film stars. Then there are the brightly colored ones that have no resemblance to the male genitalia at all. They typically range from 5 inches up to a whopping 18 inches or so.

    Balls: If they are not attached to a motor then balls fall into the category of dildos. This version is non-motorized, does not require batteries and has no electrical cord.

    • One type is Ben Wa Balls. These balls consist of two large, smooth ball bearings intended to be inserted into the vagina or anus and usually have a cord attached for easy retrieval.     • Duotone Balls are another type.     Double Sided Dildos: This sex toy is constructed with a head at each end and can be used at both ends by two people. It can be inserted into the vagina or anus. They can be the same size on either end or one end can be smaller or larger then the other. They also come in different sizes and colors.

    Strap-on-Dildos(harness): A strap-on can either go around the hips or thighs. The best strap-ons are made of leather or nylon and have tight fitting rings, buckles or velcro. Only a flared bottom dildo will stay in place during use. The dildo is inserted through a hole in the harness and the harness is then strapped to the user.

    Realistic dildos: These are designed to look like the real thing and many are made from materials, which resemble skin. Many people love them for their realistic looks with testes and veins.

    Most are flesh-tone in color and many are available in various shades, light medium or dark, whichever fits your personal tastes. They can, depending on the material that they're made of, also feel very realistic. There are several materials that are designed to mimic the feel of skin.
